FULLY BOOKED Beginner Crochet with Tricia Anderson

Saturday 14th March 10am to 1pm

Always wanted to crochet?

Now is the time. Come and learn how to crochet at this fantastic beginners crochet workshop and get yourself hooked!

During this beginners workshop you will learn about choosing and holding your yarn and hook; how to make a slipknot and cast a foundation chain; how to make a single, double and treble crochet stitches; look at patterns and the difference between UK and US terminology.

This is a fantastic workshop to learn the basics and get you started on your very first project.

I have been crocheting since I was 7 years old (not every day of course) and was taught by my mother. I am left handed, which initially posed a few problems. However, this shows that anyone can learn and succeed with their own style and flair.

I am a qualified teacher and tutor and have worked in a variety of settings from small group venues to national conferences. I currently teach in primary schools. Many years ago when training as a tutor (delivering a level 3 childminding diploma), I chose to teach crochet as a mini-course to complete my qualification. Little did I know back then, I would be running crochet courses today! Passion always shines through.

All you need to get you started is included in the price.
