Santa's Grotto NOVEMBER
Its that most wonderful time of the year again when Santa is back at Cherry Hill to meet and greet your little ones in his magical grotto!
We can't wait to welcome you into our magical grotto where each family gets a private family meeting with Santa and Holly the elf. There's time to have a chat with Santa, and there will be a special delivery from Lapland whilst you are there! You will have a chance to have a photograph with Santa, and you can make sure that Santa knows exactly what you want for Christmas!
Included in the ticket price
- Private family meeting with Santa lasting approximately 5 minutes
- 1 age appropriate present per child ticket
- Photo opportunity with Santa and the Elf (customer to take own photos)
Tickets DO NOT INCLUDE entry to any other Christmas Event being held, these must be purchased separately.
FAQ's – Santa’s Grotto
What Should I Expect? – You will be met by an elf at the door of the grotto who will already know your child’s name and how old they are. They will take you and your party through the toy workshop and Santa’s magic garden into the grotto where Santa is waiting to meet you. Your party will have a brief chat with Santa to make sure he knows what’s on the wish list for Christmas before a special delivery from the North Pole falls down Santa’s chimney just for you! There’ll be time for a quick photo just before you leave!
How Long Does it take? - You can expect to take approximately 5 minutes in the Grotto.
Is it Wheelchair/Pushchair friendly? – Yes the event can be accessed by wheelchairs and pushchairs, however due to the cosy nature of Santa’s house our elves may offer to park your pushchair in a secure area whilst you go in to meet Santa.
Do I need a ticket for a new baby? If you are planning to attend with just your baby to meet Santa for the very first time then yes, you will need to purchase a ticket to guarantee a time slot. If you have already booked for siblings then you can of course bring baby along, however there will not be a gift from Santa for the baby unless they have a ticket.
Grandma has decided she wants to come, is that ok? – Not just the Grandma’s! If you already have an existing booking then you can purchase additional tickets on the day for extra people to join you in the Grotto – however there is only space for a maximum of 6 guests in the grotto at any time. These addition tickets will be charged at the standard rate (excluding babies under the age of 1 – see the above question about new babies!)
Can I bring my dog? - No, we are sorry Dogs are not permitted into the Grotto as some of our other guests have allergies which can be triggered by dog hair.
Does this include entry to the Christmas Walk? - Unfortunately, this event does not include a visit to the Christmas Walk or any other event. Please visit our main events page and follow the links to the other events we have to offer.
I've booked and I haven't received my tickets? - Tickets are automatically emailed to the email address provided during the booking process. If you haven't received them, check your spam / promotion folders. If you still can't find them, we do keep a list of bookings at the event entrance, and you can provide your child’s name and age and the elves will check to make sure Santa is expecting you.
Something's come up and I can't attend, can I rearrange or cancel my booking? - Unfortunately, not as per the terms and conditions are shown on each event page tickets cannot be amended or cancelled once booked. Please check all the Ts and Cs prior to booking. Our booking system is fully automated and run by a third-party company, we have no access in store to be able to make any changes or cancel any bookings. This also means we cannot amend children’s names/ages on an existing booking.
Can I just turn up without booking? – We always recommend booking in advance as time slots do sell out very quickly and we have a limited capacity within the grotto, Santa is a very busy man!
I’m trying to book online for today and I can’t….help? – Our automated system closes at midnight the day before each event slot therefore you cannot book online for the same day. Please be aware that although slots maybe shown online for today, these are not accurate. You may be able to purchase tickets at the main tills during quiet periods but these are sold on a first come first serve basis and you are not guaranteed to be able to purchase any.
Online Tickets cannot be purchased on the same day you wish to visit. There maybe "same-day tickets" available to purchase from the centre - subject to last minute availability. For any customer choosing to try and buy a "same-day ticket" please be aware availability is not guaranteed.
Terms and Conditions
- Tickets cannot be amended, cancelled or refunded once booked.
- Tickets are only valid for entry at the time stated on the ticket. Please arrive for your pre-booked slot on time. Late arrivals may result in your tickets being invalidated and entry being refused. Whilst we will endeavour to run the Grotto exactly on time, there may be a small time delay.
- Tickets may only be used once.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times whilst in the Grotto.
- Dogs are not permitted into the Grotto.
- No food or drink is allowed to be consumed within the Grotto.
- Please do not attempt to climb inside or onto any part of the displays.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry and/or remove any visitors from the Grotto at the discretion of the duty management.
- Gifts from Santa may not be exchanged or returned for refund.
